Cultured Pearl Necklaces
Alan Furman & Co. sells only the finest quality of cultured pearls available. All of our Akoya pearl necklaces are composed of cultured pearls grown in Japan. Every one of these pearls has passed the strict quality control of the Japanese Pearl Board before being released for export.

Each pearl necklace is rigorously graded based on uniformity of color, size and shape, the presence of blemishes (the fewer, the better), the luster (the brightness of the pearls), and color. For many people the best color is a matter of personal preference - pink rose, white rose, or silver pink.

All Japanese Akoya cultured pearl necklaces are available in 18", 24", and 35" strands. Every strand is double knotted, and includes a 14K yellow or white gold clasp.
